Pulpoo, Inc. ("Pulpoo") respects your right to control your personal data. Pulpoo is a business platform that processes data on behalf of the companies that use it. This page explains how that data is deleted and how you can request deletion at any time.

How deletion works

For a company using Pulpoo, the retention and deletion of its data is governed by the data deletion clause of that company's contract with Pulpoo. That clause defines the default retention periods and what happens to the company's data when the agreement ends.

Independently of the contract terms, any data can be deleted at any time on request. You do not need to wait for the end of a contract term to have your information removed.

Request deletion at any time

To delete your data, email team@pulpoo.com and we will process your request. To help us locate your information, please include:

The email address associated with your account, or the WhatsApp phone number you messaged from.
What you would like deleted — your entire account, or specific data such as your WhatsApp conversation history.

We may need to verify your identity or ownership of the associated email or phone number before completing the request, to protect against unauthorized deletion.

What gets deleted

Your profile and account information.
Content associated with you, such as tasks, chats, calls, comments, and uploaded files.
Personal data received through the WhatsApp Business / Meta integration, including message content, media, and the phone-number identifiers associated with your conversations.
Automatically collected usage data linked to you, which is deleted or de-identified.

Timeline

We complete verified deletion requests within 30 days. We may retain limited information for longer only where required to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, or enforce our agreements; any such data is isolated and deleted once that purpose ends. Backups are purged on a rolling basis as they cycle out.

Data controlled by a company

When you message a business that uses Pulpoo, that business is typically the controller of your data, and Pulpoo processes it on their behalf under the data deletion clause of their contract. We will act on deletion requests and, where appropriate, coordinate with the relevant business so your request is honored under applicable law.
